This car was my daily driver and was running great until August when the temp gauge started rising and I pulled over right before it would have over-heated. The car has been parked since then. The A/C was blowing ice cold up until the heating up happened. About a month ago I tried to start it and the engine turned over, but wouldn't start. Power windows don't work (that's how I got it). Power locks do work. Has custom stereo. Interior in good condition. Good tires - front tires are only a couple months old. Transmission is good, shifts smoothly, with no issues. I don't know what's wrong with the car, it might be an easy fix?? I had a mechanic tell me that they use these for taxis in Mexico, and they last forever and parts are easy to find. I just don't have the time and space to deal with it anymore. My loss is your gain. Selling As-Is. Buyer responsible for shipping.

Fun to drive. Would be a great project car for a drifter. Or drive it as-is for a unique, affordable ride. I bought this car almost 6 years ago to be my daughter's first car. Purchased from "a little old lady" in TX. Family took away her car after a couple of parking lot accidents dented both front fenders. Less than 40K miles when I purchased the car. I gave it a tune-up, upgraded the stereo system, put in new shocks/struts, replaced the fenders, had it painted and the windows tinted. During the roughly 24,000 miles my daughter drove it, I replaced the water pump, alternator, and switch that controls the flip-up headlights (and probably a couple other things I don't remember). My daughter bought a newer car about 18 months ago, and I had been tinkering with lingering repairs, planning to keep the car for myself. During the last 2,000 miles I have replaced the exhaust (everything beyond the catalytic converter), brakes (pads, rotors and calipers on all 4 wheels), battery, 02 sensor, fuel filter, and some rotted vacuum lines (I can't guarantee you won't another one that needs replaced, but I replaced all the bad ones I could find). I have some other assorted new parts that haven't been installed (like fuel injectors) that I will include with the car. When I started getting a leak that collects water in the rear, and I couldn't find the source, I stopped updating other things. In addition to including the assorted new parts, I will include a Nissan service manual (complete with greasy finger prints) and a front bra that was never installed on the car. The heat and A/C both work, but they take a little while. If you don't expect new car performance, it shouldn't be any surprise. I don't want the buyer to have any surprises. In addition to the leak, the other problems with the car:Only the driver side wiper worksWindshield washer doesn't workParking brake cable is brokenRear driver side window latch doesn't click closed (currently taped closed)Hood and gas door latches don't spring open. You need one person to pull the lever/release the lock and a second person to open hood/door. This has been a non-smokers car. I hate to sell the car, but I have a "new" project car to play with and there isn't room in the driveway for everything. I think I've priced it fairly, but I need to sell it soon so I will consider offers. Contact me with any questions. $250 PayPal within 48 hours. Must pickup/arrange transport and pay in full within 7 days.

I am reluctantly selling my '87 200SX due to the motor failing after owning it for only 3,500 miles. The vehicle was built (I have the original Nissan build sheet and owners manual) in September of '86 and was sold in Tucson, AZ and has stayed in town since. I have placed over $1500 in repairs since I purchased it. Pros:Non-cracked dashZERO RUSTRear hatch/trunk divider and platformOriginal 200SX floormatsOriginal jack and toolsStraight body During my ownership I have replaced:Alternator (reman.)New old stock fuel pumpFront struts and re-alignedBoth ignition coils4 new Falken Ziex ZE612 tiresNew battery with 5 yr. manf. warrantyRear hatch strutsDistributor (reman.)New distributor cap and rotorNew fuel filterNew Boss 612UA radioNew Kenwood front speakersInterior re-upholsterered where neededWindows tinted 35% in front and 25% in rear and hatch, 15% on sunroofRight front Caliper (reman.) w/ padsNew Nissan door locks (includes 2 sets of keys)All new Goodyear wiper bladesWindshield During prior ownershipDistributor cap and rotor which turned out they had installed the wrong one, why I had to re-replace itAll new plugsMufflerIgnition wires Cons: Rear cylinder has NO compression, oil and antifreeze in cylinder (all other cylinders were fine)Paint is staring to become sun bakedTachometer works on and off (common problem) I will also include the service manual. This car was extremely cheap to drive and insure. People adored it, I adored it and took outstanding care of it. I have all receipts for parts and exact miles they were replaced. Unfortunately, it just stopped running and now I must part with it. The vehicle drove and handled like a new car once the work was completed. If you are looking for a strong, clean, mainly original, rust free car this is the car. Any questions feel free to ask! Additional photos...

I am selling my 97 Nissan 200sx SE-R. This a very fun and capable car I have roughly 15,000.00 in performance modifications done. The engine was built with the intent on turboing the car but never got around to installing the turbo. The car runs and drives dependably but I'm affaid I have to sell, I enlisted in the U.S. Army and couldnt take the car with me. The cylinder head was disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and reassembled with the following components: -competition 3 angle valve job with 0.040" valve seats -Valve job performed on a Serdi machine -cylinder head ported and flow tested on a SuperFlow 600 flow bench using Audie Technology digital interface -exhaust valve guides replaced with manganese bronze and honed to spec -all 16 valves reground using Kwikway valve grinding machine -cylinder head deck milled to ensure flatness(0.010" deckmill) -valve shims ground to fit Tomei solid lifters -fwd sr20de valve cover powder-coated black with breather baffles removed and rear breather tube plugged off -HKS adjustable camshaft gears -Greddy rocker arm stoppers -Tomei solid lifter -Peak Performance race spec valve springs -oem valve stem seals -HKS 272 step 3 intake camshaft(228 degrees at 0.050" lift, 12.6mm lift) -Nismo 280 exhaust camshaft(224 degrees at 0.050" lift, 12.6mm lift), this is an extremely rare camshaft. it was briefly made and I had to buy it directly from a distributor in Japan. -FWD Cometic 0.040" MLS head gasket -Nissan Pulsar GTI-R individual throttle bodies -Cutsom made intake plenum -Profab insulating intake manifold spacer gasket - Nissan Pulsar GTI-R 444cc injectors -IAT Sensor -Wired up for map sensor (planned to boost it the spring) -AEM Series 2 stand alone ecu -Greddy Front&Rear sway bars -Tokiko Blue struts -TIEN lowering springs -Full custom 3'' exhaust (done by Lou's Custom Exhaust) -Custom intake manifold (done by T&M Performance) -Custom cold air intake (done by Lou's Custom Exhaust) There are a lot more modifications but this list is just off the top of my head I also have a rwd race plenum for the individual throttle boddies. I had a 240sx that this build was going to go into but I went a different route. Now the cons: -Rust on the rear quarter needs some attention -I put a new factory front end on the car which is primed black the car needs to be painted. -Needs a battery I'm asking 5000.00 no low ball offers there is a lot of time and money into this car serious inquiries only

I've had this car for almost 4 years and it has been swapped the entire time. I got another car so this one needs to go. Car has just short of 143k on it, so if the guy I got the motor from is to be believed then that means the engine has about 88k on it. It's running a JWT ECU with stock VE injectors and an N60 MAF. The SR20VE is similar to the stock engine except it has Nissan's version of variable valve timing. It's rated at 187 hp and 145 ft-lbs. Car comes with eBay header (new, not installed), Programmable MSD window switch (not installed) and a full set of Brembo blank rotors. Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting too. The engine runs well, doesn't smoke or burn any oil. I installed it myself in January of 2011. I never got around to installing the window switch because I just daily drive it and kind of lost interest after getting it put together. The bad:- There is some rust on the rear passenger quarter, and the front edge of the hood is pretty rusty. I assume this was a northern car at some point.- AC compressor is toast, the bearing was getting loud so I have a belt on just the alternator (which is not very well fitted)- Car occasionally makes a grinding noise when turning, not sure what it is- Clear coat is peeling- Airbag light is flashing- Check engine light due to rear O2 not being installed. The car has had a new exhaust put on at some point and they didn't put in a port for the rear O2 sensor for some great reason- Odometer/speedo can be a little wonky. They work 90% of the time, but occasionally the speedo will take a minute to kick in.- Car will need new tires very soon- I had to get a junkyard rear bumper that has a J spraypainted on it The car isn't perfect, but with some work it would probably be a lot of fun. I just don't have the time or inclination to mess with it.
