Listen up folks its convertible season. Own this every day driver for a very reasonable price. This car runs great. Slight power steering leak but otherwise it will cruise along perfectly. The top is NEW. Brakes and tires are in good shape. I would fill it up and drive anywhere right now no problem. If you want to check it out prior to the auction ending just let me know. It has a smooth 350 engine and the automatic trans shifts just right. I have driven the car all over Atlanta as well as South Georgia. This car always turns heads. Especially when you drive into the show instead of trailering it. Nice 69 Ford F350 available also.Great weekender or every day driver. Please check out my other auctions. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

In the early 1970s, when muscle was fading away due to regulations and gas prices, car companies were working overtime to get people into the showrooms. The result of one team\'s labor was the Buick Sun Coupe, a Skylark with a giant canvas sunroof designed and installed by the American Sun Roof Corporation. Only 3943 were built in 1972, making them some of the rarest of all Skylarks and a wonderful car to drive today. What better choice for your Sun Coupe than code 56 Sunburst Yellow paint? With a GS-style rear spoiler and the black top, this rare Buick takes on a performance attitude that isn\'t just for show. It\'s possible that the paint is original, but given the presentation as well as the hardware upgrades, it\'s obvious that this car was owned by someone who knew what he wanted. Paint is still quite nice, panel gaps are even, and the car just looks right the way it sits today. And, of course, there\'s that big sunroof, which has been fully restored. It slides easily, the canvas is in great shape, and despite what you might think, it seals up quite well. The open-air experience it offers transforms the coupe, and you probably won\'t get tired of being the center of attention every time you peel it open. Inside, the Skylark was still stylish, comfortable, and most of all, a Buick which means goodies like factory A/C are part of the deal. That means luxury and performance in equal doses, although this one is packing some extra heat (more on that in a moment). The black buckets have been reskinned and look brand new, and the back seat has probably never seen any passengers since the build was completed. There\'s also a flat-out awesome center console (kudos on the artistic photography, guys) with the world\'s coolest shifter, and the polished shift plate glitters as the centerpiece of the entire passenger compartment. Crisp markings on the gauges mean they\'ve been rebuilt, and there are new carpets on the floor with matching mats. The trunk is neatly finished as well, offering a new mat with a correct spare tire cover. So about the upgrades. Well, under the hood you\'ll find a GS Stage 1-spec 455 cubic inch Buick V8, which is unquestionably the king of torque. The Dante Red paint on the block looks stock, but things like the Edelbrock intake and carb, the freshly ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds, and the open-element air cleaner mean it\'s dressed for combat. Stock-style chrome valve covers add some flair, and there\'s a giant BeCool aluminum radiator up front keeping it all under control. A heavy-duty TH400 transmission handles the horsepower. Brakes are upgraded with slotted rotors and 4-piston calipers up front hiding behind a set of Torque Thrusts that look exactly right. Big power in a very cool package-no other A-body came close in \'72. Call today! This vehicle is not currently in one of our showrooms. Please set up an appointment to view this car in person. This gorgeous 1970 Buick Skylark GS350 is available for a fraction of the cost of its Pontiac and Chevrolet siblings. The restoration is fresh, it\'s got the right options and hardware, and you can\'t argue with the stunning good looks. That luscious red paint is called Firepepper Red Pearl, and rendered in two-stage DuPont urethane, it has a look you almost want to touch to see if it\'s still wet. This Buick\'s familiar A-body look didn\'t come easy, though, because there was a lot of effort invested in getting the sheetmetal right before the paint went on, including fresh quarters to make someone else\'s work near perfect. The result it a super straight Buick that fits together right and looks like it should cost thousands more than it does. A GS hood with twin nostrils gives it an aggressive look, but the Buick is always dignified, so it does without spoilers and stripes. It does, however, offer a lot of shiny chrome that\'s in excellent condition, including both bumpers and the stainless trim around the windows. This is a really sharp car! The black bucket seat interior was added to help complete the GS look and was all new at the time of restoration in 2012 and still looks fantastic today. Reproduction seat covers, new foam and springs, and fresh carpets provide a factory-correct look and settling in behind the wheel is easy. But to give you a better idea of how nice this car is, those are the original door panels, and the line between new and old is very blurry indeed. Nice! Options include a center console, factory A/C with R134a refrigerant, and a speed minder that\'s kind of a cool period piece. The gauges are clear and show well, while a set of aftermarket gauges hangs under the dash. And instead of going crazy with the upgrades, this car retained its stock AM radio rather than stuffing some modern piece in there, and the dash looks all the better for it. Horseshoe shifters always look great and in the Buick, the woodgrained handle lends it a more upscale look than in some of its lower-priced cousins. The trunk is also correctly restored, offering a reproduction mat, spare tire with cover, and fresh spatter finish paint on the original sheetmetal floor. The car\'s original, numbers-matching 350 cubic inch V8 was rebuilt to largely stock specs, although there was an .030 overbore and a lot of new parts inside. A Comp Cams camshaft was added to give it a bit of a cackle and a T/A Performance intake manifold was installed under the original Rochester Quadra-Jet carburetor. Up top, there\'s the distinctive Ram Air air cleaner and a custom dual exhaust system was fabricated to give it the right sound. It has been comprehensively detailed and looks as good underneath as it does up top, an endeavor that is neither cheap nor easy. There\'s a new radiator, a new drive shaft, a rebuilt A/C system, and a sturdy TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. The entire suspension was rebuilt with quality MOOG components and boxed control arms out back and with 2.73 gears in the 10-bolt rear end, it\'s a very comfortable highway cruiser. Classic Buick Road wheels are among the best-looking rims of the period and carry 225/70/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials all around. Look at the quality on this car, then look again at the price. If this was a Chevelle or GTO, it would cost 25% more, but as a Buick you get just as much performance with a little bit of luxury to match. Call today! It\'s rare to see a Buick that\'s not a GS get the muscle car makeover, but this 1966 Skylark convertible shows off what\'s possible with a little imagination. After all, this is a cousin to the GTO and the Olds 442, so everything that\'s great about those cars translates directly to the slick Buick, too. Originally red, this Skylark now proudly wears a coat of blue that looks especially good on the clean A-body sheetmetal. The first things most folks notice about this car are those hood scoops, which give a low-key Buick a very aggressive overall demeanor. Of course, those contrasting light blue stripes certainly don\'t hurt with the attitude adjustment, and even speaking as a Buick guy, one has to like the look a lot. Those quarter panels look about a quarter-mile long, but they\'re straight and well-finished, and as a convertible, this one feels rock solid with doors that fit well, a tribute to Buick\'s build quality. Styling is typical \'60s conservative, but there\'s a quiet confidence about this car that suggests it has nothing to prove. Just the same, it\'s dressed nicely with bright chrome bumpers and plenty of bright stainless trim around the windshield and grille. As conservative as the Buick appears externally (well, without the stripes and scoops, anyway), the interior says, \"Let\'s party!\" Striped seat covers look authentic and fit beautifully, making for a very inviting passenger compartment. The fat wood-rimmed wheel is clearly a recent addition and looks quite upscale, which is certainly appropriate in GM\'s #2 brand. The original gauges keep track of the basics assisted by an under-dash temperature gauge, and the dash itself wears bright stainless trim instead of the ersatz wood that would come later. Entertainment from the AM/FM/CD stereo is augmented by a remote that keeps the original AM radio in the dash for an OEM look. The trunk is simply massive (and remember this is only the \"mid-sized\" Buick in 1966!), carrying a full-sized spare and a mat that fits well. Overhead, a light blue convertible top looks new and expertly installed with no wrinkles or sags. Displacing a nice, round 300 cubic inches, the 310 Wildcat this Buick holds represents the torque rating, and the stout small block moves the convertible with genuine enthusiasm. Finished in Buick Turquoise, it shows evidence of regular service and fairly recent paint on the valve covers and very few deviations from stock. It\'s backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt out back. No, it\'s not detailed and shiny like it\'s going to the prom, but it is solid and nicely maintained, with a recent dual exhaust system that sounds muscular. Classic Buick road wheels always look great, especially when wrapped in period-correct G70-14 redlines. If you\'re a Buick fan or just looking for a clean ragtop that isn\'t a garden-variety Chevy, this muscle-bound Buick deserves a second look. And where else can you get into a nice classic convertible for this price?! Call today! This vehicle is located in our Charlotte showroom. Buicks don\'t seem to get the same respect their Pontiac and Chevy cousins do, but that means that cars like this 1969 Skylark convertible are insanely affordable. Offering great V8 performance, a bunch of luxury features, and awesome A-body styling, it makes you wonder why anyone would ever pay a premium for a Chevelle. In truth, this is a good, clean, honest car. It isn\'t a show car, it isn\'t a rest-mod, and isn\'t trying to be a GS clone. Instead, it\'s been properly maintained its entire life and looks great because of it. It might have been repainted at one point, but it\'s hard to say; the overall look is quite good but there\'s a bit of patina to it, and I personally wouldn\'t change a thing. The color is called Trumpet Gold and it\'s the right choice given the time period in which it was built and the fact that it is an upmarket Buick. It does not appear to have ever been wrecked or rusty, and the panel alignment is quite good, including the doors which are notorious for sagging on these cars after a few years. Instead, this sucker fits together really well. The trim is probably original and showing a bit of age, but again it\'s appropriate to the car\'s overall look and replacing one part might start an avalanche of replacing everything, and you know where THAT inevitably leads. No, better to leave it the way it is and simply enjoy because everyone you meet will think it\'s a gorgeous car. The black interior is unquestionably original and in remarkable condition, perhaps the best proof of this car\'s comfortable life. Seat covers, door panels, and even the carpets are vintage 1969 and showing only minor wear and signs of use. That funky Buick steering wheel is unlike anything else in the GM stable at the time and the gauges are still crisply market and very legible. Auxiliary instruments were tucked under the dash in the usual fashion, and while the original Sonomatic AM radio still lives in the dash, there\'s a modern AM/FM/CD stereo hidden in the glove box. Factory A/C is a welcome sight and it uses R134a refrigerant so it\'ll be easy to service in the future. The black power convertible top is new and features a glass rear window. The mat in the trunk is also original and a little frayed around the edges, but it\'s otherwise in nice shape and includes a full-sized spare with original cover. Buick\'s own 350 cubic inch V8 provides big torque from a small package and a unique sound that\'s music to Buick lovers\' ears. The bright Dante Red engine block and accessories are simply too nice to be original, so the engine bay has obviously been detailed in the recent past. Upgrades include an HEI ignition system and dual exhaust, but otherwise it seems pretty stock. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission powers the original 10-bolt rear end, and just a single glance at the underside of this car is all the proof you\'ll need of its excellent condition. Sporty Buick road wheels are fitted with 205/75/14 whitewall radials, so it\'s ready to cruise. This Buick offers lots of top-down fun for a fraction of the price of the other guys, and the performance will likely surprise you. Become a Buick fan and take this one for a drive. Call now!
