Oldsmobile : Eighty-Eight Delta 88 Royal Convertible 1973 oldsmobile delta 88 royale convertible gorgeous
1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Convertible Only 56,000 documented miles!!!! Wedgwood Blue, Black Interior & Black Top Original Rocket 350 cu in Engine, Automatic Transmission Extremely clean original condition with recent repaint in original factory correct color! Runs & Drives absolutely beautifully!! Starts right up. Idles great. Knocks down beautifully and purrs like a kitten. No smoke. Put her in drive, and the automatic transmission shifts through the gears unnoticeably. I have owned dozens of contemporary and classic cars and nearly every type of car, foreign & domestic, low end, high end, etc. and I can say that this is probably the smoothest and most comfortable car to sit in and drive that I have EVER owned! Everything operates as it should. With the exception of very few minor imperfections here and there, the car is extremely clean inside & out! Tires and top are only a couple years old and are like new. The paint is a quality repaint of the original color. Please see the pictures and pay particular attention to the photos of the engine bay! If you are looking for a Greenwich or Palm Beach Concours winner, this may not be your car, but, if you are looking for a solid, extremely clean original car that will turn heads everywhere & get you a few awards at local car shows, then look no further!! It has yet to leave the garage without getting a compliment (usually many!) before it returns home! The Wedgwood Blue is gorgeous and makes the car stand out from all the red and white convertibles that are out there. If you are considering this vehicle, you probably know that this one one of the last big Detroit convertibles of their generation. Classic car buffs agree that these cars are blue-chip investments with their worth increasing in recent years.... And projected to jump even higher in the next few years. Otherwise stated, maintain it and it will only increase in value... Perhaps significantly, sooner than later!! Also, this is a pre-catalytic converter car (cars sold in the U.S. from 1975 onward had to have them!) which makes it more desirable due to its better horsepower. MODEST RESERVE! Car is being sold AS-IS with no guarantee and/or warranty expressed, written or implied. The car is over 40 years old and as such, one should expect imperfections, etc. of a car this old. I am not a dealer and have included MANY pictures for the prospective bidder/buyer to review and satisfy themselves with the overall condition of the car. Mutually conveniently arranged inspections of the vehicle can also be arranged to further satisfy anyone as to the car's condition, but must be made prior to auction close. It is the bidders/buyers responsibility to take all reasonable measures to satisfy themselves with the condition of the car before entering a bid/buying the car. The car is currently registered in the state of CT and is safe to operate on the roads in CT. Connecticut does not issue a title on cars manufactured before 1981, so, this car does not come with a CT title. I do have an older NJ Title that I am happy to include. Included will be an official CT Bill of Sale.

1971 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale convertible with original 455 2-V (2 barrel) big block engine - runs strong! Also has the TH-400 three speed automatic transmission. New tires with less than 500 miles on them. It's a solid car with 100,350 original miles. The white convertible top is in great shape and has a blue boot cover (not pictured) to match interior. There are some chips and minor blemishes - see pictures. Couple of spots of some light surface rust on the bottom of drivers door and on the back of the car near the trunk (see pictures). Frame, floor pans (new), and trunk are all very solid and nice. Equipped with Factory Air Conditioning, but not currently working. Has front disc and rear drum brakes. Currently needs the rear brakes replaced, but will have new brakes on the car prior to shipping. Please give me a call with any questions at 612-360-5142 or email me through eBay. Oldsmobile : Eighty-Eight Delta 88 Royale 1983 oldsmobile delta 88 royale brougham sedan 4 door 5.0 l 11000 act miles
1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale sedan with 11000 actual miles. This car is amazing, it is like new. Was ordered by a local school teacher. She passed in 1993 and her husband passed in 2006 with no kids. This car was in a garage with no windows. I bought it at the family estate sale. Had the plastic still on carpet from the factory. I removed it, cleaned and detailed car, installed new tires, air cond, battery, head liner. Carried it to several car shows won first place most of the time. Runs and drives like the day it left the factory! You will be amazed at the condition of this car! It had 10200 miles when I got it in 2006 now has 11112 miles. Any questions just e mail. Want to talk. email and I will give you my #. $500.00 deposit in 24 hrs. of accepted offer and balance due in cash when car is picked up. Will work with you on pick up.
Please read listing thoroughly before bidding. 1979 Oldsmobile Delta 88 sedan with no engine or transmission. It had an Oldsmobile 350 motor and th350 transmission. Other than the motor and transmission, it is also missing the radiator, drive shaft, front seats, and front bumper. The wheels in the photos have also been sold and the car is currently sitting on cement blocks. It has serious rust in the pillars, under both front and back window seals, and some areas of the floor. Some areas are rusted through. The rust under the window seals caused leaks in the interior that damaged most reusable interior parts. There are zero dents in the body but the paint is very faded and the white vinyl top has been removed to reveal more rust. None of the removable body panels (fenders, doors, hood, and trunk) have serious rust. The hood looks pretty bad but the surface rust should sand off ok. Although it has a clean Oregon title and could be restored to be on the road again, I am selling it as a mostly complete parts car. Also, the rear end (rear axle) and front clip (hood, fenders, inner wells, and headlight/grille housing) are detached and off the car but are included. A flat bed truck or trailer with a winch would be best to load and haul the car. There are 2 tires/wheels that can help with loading. Please send a message if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.

This is a classic 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Convertible. The Oldsmobile Delta is mover propelled by that classic GM Power from the Rocket 350 V8 engine under the hood. This daily driver allows you to ride in style while turning heads at the same time. Even though there have been a few alterations to provide a more contemporary look (see rims), there has been a great deal of care that has been taken to maintain the original character of this beautiful classic. The Oldsmobile Delta 88 Convertible For Sale has not been abused or mistreated on the road. This car is primarily a garage queen that only comes out for video/photo shoots or lazy South Florida cruising sessions. For more pictures pictures feel free to visit oldsmobiledelta.com

Lots of room, a pillowy soft ride, and purring V8 power all make for a very unique driving experience that we'll never see again. With incredible preservation, this one will take you back to the great days of open-air cruising when American luxury made you feel like the king of the world. The color is called Silver Taupe and it looks just about right on this big Olds. Not aggressive, but rather sophisticated and elegant. It's also the car's original paint, and while it's not perfect, it is remarkably well-preserved for being more than 40 years old. You could give it a deep clean and a buff to really bring out the shine, but as it sits, it has a nice soft glow that makes you want to heat out west on a long road trip. Obviously with original paint the sheetmetal underneath is also original and in excellent condition and despite the era's reputation for excess, the Delta 88 is clean and chiseled without looking too baroque. A contrasting rub strip accentuates the car's clean flanks and a familiar Oldsmobile split grille up front was the corporate look during the mid-70s. Sure, there's some chrome, including a pair of bumpers as big as battering rams, but the overall presentation is restrained and trim. The black interior is also 100% original and shockingly well-preserved. Wide bench seats offer room for six and even the guys in the middle probably won't be complaining about space. There are no splits or tears in the seats, no major wear, just some very minor comfort marks that are probably inevitable. Neat trim on the doors adds a bit of interest to the otherwise monochromatic interior and even the faux woodgrain on the dash is pretty convincing. Power windows are a useful addition on any convertible and the AM/8-track radio provides reasonable entertainment if you happen to have some 8-track tapes lying around. The convertible top is also probably original and in good condition, and these big GM ragtops used a unique scissors mechanism that allowed for a full-width back seat as well as a glass rear window. There's a matching black boot for when the top is down and the trunk is outfitted with a correct rubber mat and full-sized spare. The 350 cubic inch "Rocket" V8 under the hood delivers plenty of power for effortless cruising and entertaining performance. No, these were never intended to be fast cars, but it has a graceful and inevitable feel and you just know that it was built to cruise all day at 80 MPH across the wide-open spaces. The engine bay is pretty original and not detailed for show, but there's plenty of recent maintenance, including a new radiator up front to keep it cool. It starts with a familiar Oldsmobile growl from the single tailpipe and idles smoothly enough that you can barely feel it through the steering wheel. As a full-sized car, the big Olds gets a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end with 2.73 gears inside, so it's a superlative highway cruiser. The floors are in good condition for an original car, and it hasn't lost a bit of its impossibly smooth ride. Part of that is attributable to the cushy 225/75/15 Uniroyal radials, which have been fitted to the original wheels. With only three owners and a remarkable state of preservation, this Olds represents high-quality summer time fun at a very reasonable price. Oldsmobile : Eighty-Eight Royale 1978 oldsmobile delta 88 royale 2 door 350 v 8 68 k original miles 2 nd owner clean
Charlotte, North Carolina
1978 Olds Delta 88 Royale. Olds 350 V8, 68k original miles, runs great, shifts great, no problems. All maintenance done. I am the second owner. I purchased it from a gentleman who bought it new and took very good care of it. It was his first car and he did anything to the car that it needed. He kept it and or I have kept it in a garage or carport its entire life. Original North Carolina car, been in North Carolina its whole life. I have a copy of the original NC title. He had it repainted its original color and it looks good, Russet brown with tan vinyl interior. He had the vinyl top replaced and clear coated, some of the clear coat is on the paint near the top where they didn't mask it well as seen in picture, could be buffed out, didn't really bother me. The headliner was replaced. The seats are in good condition and no rips, looks like no one has sat in the back. Recently, I put some original quarter emblems and a nicer trunk lock cover on it. Car was never smoked in, the ashtray and lighter are like new. The cover behind the steering wheel is a little cracked and the carpet under the driver mat is worn, cant really tell unless you look behind steering wheel or under mat. A/C blows cold, heat works and the cruise control works. It has power locks and tilt wheel. Original spare and jack in the trunk. Tires are basically new. I've put non ethanol high test gasoline in the time that I've owned it. Very clean car and you will not be disappointed. Not a perfect car but its reasonably priced. Horn works, lights work. No warning lights on. It has power steering and power brakes. I wouldn't be scared to drive this car cross country. One picture of the car has a 1978 Mississippi sample plate on it, we can run YOM plates here in NC and I did it for fun. Thanks and God bless.
