Today, trucks like this 1959 Apache have an undeniable appeal with lots of chrome, wonderful styling, and a bunch of still-usable functionality. This one also happens to offer a strong-running V8 with overdrive and a tastefully upgraded interior to go with it, making for a truck that you can drive anywhere. Any vehicle from the '50s is not going to be subtle, so you may as well paint it bright red. The fact that red works so well on the Apache is a happy coincidence, but to be honest, these trucks look right in just about any color. The bodywork is in excellent condition, showing not only quality workmanship but a lifetime of pretty easy living because the thing fits together too well to have ever been broken and abused. The stepside bed offers practicality as well as a great look with those bulging rear fenders, and the way they're artfully styled to match the bodywork is more evidence that Chevy knew styling sold trucks as well as cars. The finish was applied a few years ago, so it's got some signs of use, but the overall look is quite appealing and it sure shines up nicely. Details like chrome bumpers, the wide grille, and quad headlights help strengthen the link between the passenger car line and the trucks, and the bed is beautifully restored with the requisite varnished wood and body-colored rub strips. Using a power seat from a late-model means that climbing into this vintage Apache feels very familiar. It's easy to get comfortable in the big overstuffed leather seats and with carpeted floors, it's rather luxurious inside. A polished tilt column and a billet steering wheel add comfort without removing style and the original dashboard has been filled with a set of modern gauges in a billet panel that fits like the original. There's a Sunpro tach and shift light mounted overhead, which is a unique way to do it that we've not seen before, but we definitely like it! An AM/FM/CD stereo lives in the glove box so that the dash can keep its mostly original configuration and thanks to the use of extensive sound-deadening materials in the cab, it's nice and quiet on the road. This is one old pickup that doesn't feel like an old pickup from behind the wheel. A strong-running 350 cubic inch V8 delivers probably twice as much power as the original engine would have, perhaps even more if this truck was a six, so it's quite entertaining on the road. An upgraded 4-barrel carburetor and intake manifold offer snappy throttle response and with that oversized radiator and electric fan, this truck doesn't seem to mind sitting in traffic. A few chrome dress-up pieces make it look tidy under the hood and the long-tube headers feed a rumbling Flowmaster dual exhaust system with chrome tips peeking out from under the rear bumper. Thanks to a 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, this truck is now a superlative highway cruiser and with the suspension lowered four inches, it has a wonderfully aggressive look that doesn't seem to compromise its ability to carry a load. A full Mustang II front suspension with power rack-and-pinion steering plus four-wheel disc brakes mean that it rides and handles like a far younger truck and the color-matched Rallys with 235/70/15 radials are exactly the right choice. As handsome as ever and tastefully modified, this Apache will become your favorite way to move your stuff around. Inherited this truck from Brother but unable to find time to fulfill his plans for restoration. Rebuilt small block engine starts right up and sounds great. I have not driven this but start it up periodically. Pictures show pretty much all but I do have the Glass replacements for windows and a new bumper that my brother never had a chance to install before he was killed in a motorcycle accident. This was his project truck and I have had for 6 years but will not have the time to finish so its up for sale for somebody who will and who appreciates it current condition. Other then rebuilt motor and being lowered, it looks to be all original. Its avail to view in person or if you want any additional pictures of anything or have questions, please just ask.
RARE FINDSWB FLEET-SIDE Here is a truly sought after truck and this one will make a great one to start with. It is very solid where it counts. The 6 cyl engine runs. It has a new distributor cap, resistor, new plugs, new plug wires and a fresh rebuild kit in the carburetor.I have run it off of a gas can because the tank will need to be flushed. There are new brakes parts for the brakes, they are not up. It has a NEW tinted windshield. The truck has been stored inside for most of it's like. Underneath the truck is incredibly solid as you will see in the pictures. The cab steps are awesome and the floor is great as well! The inner fenders almost look new!! The truck will need the outer cab corners only, a little rust on the bottom of the passenger door outer skin and the tailgate and inner bottom of the bed where it meets the wood. All of which is a very easy fix. You would be hard pressed to find a truck this solid for the money. The truck has been sprayed in primer over the years to preserve it, not to hide anything. There is a spot above the passenger headlight that was an attempt to fix a dent and any of the other dents are what you see, so nothing is hidden. Just a great start to a very rare and cool looking truck. You are welcome to see the truck in person, or have someone look for you prior to bidding as your opinion could vary.I have included a picture of another one for reference only so you can see how awesome these trucks look lowered. This is a Buy It Now or best offer auction so no need to wait till the end and miss out. These SWB fleetsides don't come along often that are this solid!!!!

Nice 1960 Chevrolet Apache 10. Truck runs and drives great. Odometer reads 47,771, not sure if this is the correct total miles, judging by the way it drives I would say it is very possible. I purchased the truck in its current condition, it was restored several years ago. Everything on the truck works as it should, engine is straight six with 3 on a tree manual and runs great. If you have any questions feel free to ask or call 810-577-0382. Thanks.

This truck is my daily driver to work, when it's not raining, about 20 miles round trip. It does great around town or on the highway, cruises smooth at 80mph. I would not hesitate to take it on extended road trips. I will include as many photos as I can of the truck, if you would like to see more just ask. If you have any other questions please message me. This is an Arizona truck and has virtually no rust, you can buy it and drive it home. This is a vehicle you have to see to appreciate. The cross members and the rear end are pinstriped, the entire underbody is painted the same color as the rest of the truck, and the 350 runs great, and has a large aftermarket aluminum radiator installed. This was a show truck before I purchased it, so the heater was removed and all vent controls are attached with velcro. The windshield wipers and headlight knobs were retained and still work. The radio was installed just for temporary sound, I can remove if desired before shipping. Black spot inside the hood is a rust stopping primer with a black gloss topcoat. The master cylinder leaked and ate away the paint, so after the new master cylinder was installed it was painted. New windshield wipers and wiper arms, new headlights, new tires as of last fall, new chrome air filter this winter. Just needs you to put gas in it and cruise around turning heads. Will include new door seals and wind shield seals, as well as the window felt for the crank windows. Purchased felt/rubbers (From LMC Truck) with the intention of installing but never had time/didn't feel like it was necessary to replace something that was still working. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank You
