Our number one focus has always been our customers. What started out as a hobby for owner Roy Cats, quickly turned into a successful business venture as he helped many of his friends find the car of their dreams. By the time 2002 rolled around, Roy was almost too busy to partake in the hobby side of things as helping the people he met along the way buy and sell their cars quickly became a full time gig. Cats Exotics specializes not only in Lamborghinis but in all types of cars from Exotics, to Luxury cars, to Muscle cars, to Rare collectibles. Being car people first and business people second, we have been able to cultivate a customer base that we never take for granted and we focus on building long lasting, trusting relationships with all of our clients. As Roy always says, “It’s easier to keep a customer than gain a new one.” Since we are a family business, we try to never lose sight of the important things in life and do our best to enjoy the cars as much as we also make a business out of selling them. Whether it is a trade-in, consignment, brokering service, or simply just a purchase from our inventory we treat every customer the same whether it is a $500 car part or a $500,000 Supercar. With every inquiry and every purchase we invite you to become part of our passion and part of our family. We recently opened a brand new Showroom facility totaling over 20,000 square feet in July 2011 and haven’t looked back since. Young soldiers with post-WWII salary cash who were looking for the thrills and adrenalin rush they experienced during the global conflict; sought after cheap automobile platforms to extensively modify for maximum performance. The Ford Model-T provided just what the young “hot-rodders” were looking for, a versatile chassis and inexpensive parts. This 1923 T-Bucket has been tastefully modified, in true “hot-rodder” fashion. Both the body and frame are aftermarket copies of an original 1923 Model T; the body is fiberglass and the frame is a 2×4 boxed steel. A 350ci Chevrolet based V8 replaced the sluggish 4-cyclinder, along with a heavy-duty live rear axle. The engine is very healthy and ideals at a comfortable temperature and noise level. A newer aluminum radiator has been fitted into the shell of a ’32 Ford radiator, keeping the “hot-rod” look while still gaining all of the advantages of modern cooling systems. This T-bucket’s front axle is placed front of the engine; an aftermarket drop axle was used along with a transversely mounted leaf spring and small shock absorbers. The addition of the shock absorbers improves the road handling and comfort dramatically. The bright yellow paint is in excellent condition, contrasting well against the chrome used throughout the car. Reupholstered using premium tan vinyl the interior and rear “turtle-deck” seat are in great condition with no noteworthy imperfections to be found. Overall this T-bucket is a ideal recreation for those who want a turn key, well balanced and beautifully executed hot rod to turn heads & win car shows! GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! Please contact us for more information. Vehicle is sold as is and mileage exempt on a clean clear Missouri title. The fully-executed forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle. Over the last several decades we have exported thousands of cars to Norway, Germany, Estonia, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska, Costa Rica, Brazil, British Columbia, Canada and many other locations around the world. Overseas shipments will be placed into a steel container for safe sea passage or optional roll-on/roll-off (RoRo). We take care of all the details and paperwork. All you have to do is collect the car at your nearest port and enjoy! Please note that we are not a transport company and only offer this service as a convenience to our customers. You are more than welcome to arrange your own shipping. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received. Financing We offer financing through many of the best lenders in the industry. They are currently offering very attractive rates for all collector and special interest automobiles. Warranty ALL SALES ARE FINAL WITH CAR BEING SOLD WHERE IS, AS IS! The vehicle is offered with a right to a personal inspection by any bidder or agent of any bidder. The vehicle is available for inspection prior to bidding. If you are the high bidder and unable to inspect said vehicle before auction close, you or an agent will have (7) days to inspect said vehicle after the close of auction. I encourage a physical inspection strongly to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. All used vehicles should be assumed to have some degree of wear. No vehicle is perfect to everyone. Each vehicle has its strengths, styles, tendencies and shortcomings. Therefore, despite our best efforts to verify a vehicle’s mechanical condition, we are not able to warranty a manufacturer’s workmanship or previous owner’s diligence in care. It is for this reason that all vehicles are sold ”WHERE/IS, AS/IS”. We have described the above mentioned vehicle to the best of our ability. However, with all classic and exotic vehicles, the condition is subjective. Please be advised that no oral or written statements concerning any vehicle constitutes a representation or warranty of the condition of the said vehicle. INDUSTRY UNIQUE RETURN POLICY: If for any reason you receive your vehicle and have buyer’s remorse, are not happy with the vehicle or just don’t want it for any reason we will purchase the car back from you. We must be notified in writing of your decision to return the vehicle within seven (7) days of your receipt of said vehicle. The vehicle may not have more than 75 additional miles on the odometer from the time it left our possession and be returned in the same condition that it left. You WILL be responsible for a restocking fee that will equal 20% of the purchase price of the vehicle, no exceptions. You will also be responsible for shipping the vehicle back to our shop at your expense. Copyright © 1999-2015 MotoeXotica. All Rights Reserved. With stout small block power, a competent suspension, and a surprisingly comfortable interior, it's over-the-top in every measurable way, making this the T-bucket to own if you're seeking the spotlight. Visibility is the T-bucket's claim to fame, and with that in mind this vintage 'bucket got a glowing paint job that lives up to the standards set by similar machines from the '70s and you'd have to be legally blind to miss it, even at night. There's not a lot of surface area, but the bodywork that remains on the minimalist T is nicely prepped and finished and now showing some nice patina that's just right. The overall look suggests that just because it was originally designed to be inexpensive doesn't mean you have to build it on the cheap. Every square inch of visible bodywork has been painted, upholstered, or polished, including the mini bed out back, which wears its own diamond-tufted tonneau cover. The tall Model T windshield remains, but has been raked back slightly for a new look on an old favorite, and you'll also note that the glass itself is tinted, there's a hand-operated windshield wiper, and even a set of wind wings that keep it pleasant inside. The interior fits the template for the traditional T-Bucket, with a diamond-tufted bench seat that wraps around the entire passenger compartment. The upright steering wheel is all part of the experience, and it uses a traditional Model T brass center with a modern wood rim that's a bit fatter than stock. A full array of vintage Stewart-Warner gauges have been fitted into a nicely finished oak panel, again offering just the right patina for a car straight out of the past. And you can forget Mexican blankets serving as low-buck upholstery, because this one is very nicely finished in black vinyl and a full set of carpets that make it feel a bit more civilized. There is no top, no windows, and no heat, but with that thumping small block V8, I don't think you'll miss it. Yes, that's a 350 Chevy topped by dual quads and a blower; talk about overkill! The supercharger is a 6-71 and it's topped by a pair of 650 CFM Edelbrocks under a scoop, so it looks like you'd expect it to. And since it's right out there in the wind for everyone to see, all the components were either polished or plated so they sparkle in the sunlight. It's a 4-bolt main block with a steel crank and forged pistons, plus a set of Crane roller rockers, so it was definitely built for combat. And for some reason they stuck a Boyce moto-meter atop the faux radiator shell, although it's completely blocked by the massive engine; the T-bucket summed up in a single detail. A 4-speed manual transmission feeds power to a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end, all of which was painted to match the body. And speaking of oversized, those are genuine wire wheels which wear a traditional big-n-little set of tires, including Mickey Thompson Indy profile rear tires for the perfect old school look. There's nothing more radical than the T-bucket, and this one shows a lot of care and thought in the build, and is a fast, fun little car as a result. * 1923 FORD T-BUCKET *"Classic Street-Rod"The Model T's were hot-rodded and customized from the 1920's and on, but the T-Bucket was specifically created and named by Norm Grabowski in the 1950's. The exposure from appearing on the TV show "77 Sunset Strip" gave the T-Bucket an incredible amount of attention. From then, numerous copies have been built. A genuine T-Bucket has the two-seater body of a Model T Roadster (with or without the turtle deck or small pickup box), this "bucket" shaped body is where the car gets its name. They generally feature an enormous engine for the size and weight of the car, generally a V8, along with tough drivetrains to handle the power and large rear tires to apply that power to the road. The front wheels are often much narrower than the rear wheels, and are often motorcycle wheels. Today, T-Buckets are wildly known for their appearance and are becoming more and more desirable as we reach its Century old anniversary. This T-Bucket in particular was built for both street and show use. With the 327 Small Black Chevy motor, you can crank it up with the turn of a key on any given day and hop in for a cruise. From the sound of the headers, to the FLAMES that can blow out of the exhaust, to the overall classic street-rod look, be prepared to grab some attention. It comes with some tasteful modifications that not only make this a fun classic, but enough to set you apart from any others that you might see at shows. It's sure to please and excite anyone who loves American muscle. An affordable toy that you can use daily or turn into a car show queen! -LIST OF GOODIES-This Classic Streetrod features: 327 CUBIC INCH MOTORLONG TUBE HEADERS4-BARREL EDELBROCK CARBURETOREDELBROCK RPM LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLDSPARK PLUG FLAME THROWER CONVERSION KIT33 X 21.50 MICKEY THOMPSON REAR TIRESCUSTOM FABRICATED TRUNKMULTI-COLORED LED LIGHTSHURST SHIFTERPOWER FRONT DISC BRAKES2000 MILES SINCE REBUILD 350 TURBO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CUSTOM CENTER CONSOLE BLACK VINYL BENCH SEATFREE SHIPPING IN THE CONUS!!!PROFESSIONALLY DETAILED CLEAN TEXAS TITLERECENTLY SERVICEDTHE LIST GOES ON!!! The first one is unofficially credited to Norm Grabowski, the Kooky Kar, which showed up on "77 Sunset Strip." In the decades since, it has been faithfully reproduced in endless variations, and it's still one of the coolest ways to go fast in all of hot rodding. This T-bucket's body isn't your average modern kit, however, having been built by Dan Brusseu, founder of the Bay Area Roadster back in the 1960s. The look is familiar, but the proportions are just as outrageous today as they were fifty years ago. It's based on a shortened Model T pickup truck, but there's not much hauling capacity left, but who cares? This car ain't about being practical, not with the hand-made wooden bed out back. And in a typical T-bucket fashion, there are unique details everywhere you look, some totally trick and some totally traditional. The dark green paint is highlighted by subtle gold pinstripes and the raked-back windshield is both iconic and a bit less formal than the usual vertical units. Finish quality is amazing for its age and the details are totally authentic because it was built by a guy who was there when it was all happening. Check out the built-in windshield wipers, the custom wind wings, color-matched headlight buckets, all of which give it a very unified look. T-buckets are all about nostalgia, and what could be more nostalgic than a period-built T? A T-bucket doesn't offer much interior, but that which you'll find on this one is beautifully finished. Black leatherette buckets in a traditional button-tufted pattern forms the majority of the interior, wrapping around the driver and passenger and creating a very comfortable environment, given the car's upright stance. A pretty wood steering wheel sits atop the steering column but has a bit more rake to it so it's easier to drive than most T-buckets, and vintage Stewart-Warner gauges in a custom engine-turned panel keep an eye on the hot small block. And this might be the only T-bucket we've ever seen with a center console, which looks like it was borrowed from a period luxury car, maybe a Pontiac. You'll find the entertainment system (the one not tied to your right foot, anyway) involves an AM radio and an under-dash tape player that are all about old-school. A T-bucket is nothing without a big engine, and the sturdy, simple 350 cubic inch Chevy V definitely fits the bill. It's got all kinds of old-school parts, including the vintage Holley high-rise intake and genuine Corvette valve covers, and with a newer Edelbrock carb, those big rear tires are more of a necessity than mere style. It's all detailed but has that used and loved look, with tons of chrome and just the right amount of patina, from the chrome air cleaner to the T-bucket headers that have just enough blue to look like they work for a living. Underneath, the front suspension is a custom tubular axle with transverse leaf spring and hairpins, while out back there's a 9-inch Ford hanging on a setup from a VW bus. Too cool! And you just have to admire the workmanship on the full bell pans, which are painted to match the bodywork and fit beautifully. And there's just nothing like the dramatic big-n-little combination on a T-bucket, with this one wearing vintage American Racing aluminum wheels and vintage Kelly Super Charger tires for that '60s look. There are plenty of T-buckets out there, but this one is heavily documented and built by one of the cornerstones of the rodding movement. If pedigree matters, this is the T-bucket to own. There are a lot of T Buckets being built out there. Some are built in back yards under a shade tree, some in the homeowners two car garage, some in the neighbors garage and some are built at a local body shop. in each of these builds it requires a purchase of a molded body, the purchase of a rail system or tubing where you make your own rails. When you start to put the car together you find your rail system doesn't fit properly so you start to modify either the body or the rails or both. Chances are the car never handles properly {some do} because the rails aren't straight or the body isn't centered properly. Then you paint the car and the first three groups have to wait for a non windy day and many of our local body shops don't have proper spray booths. Then there are manufactures who specialize in building T Buckets. Not a lot of these folks around but there are a few who cast their own bodies, build their own rails who have equipment to determine the straightness of the tubing the squareness of the rail system. These folks produce a glove fit vehicle under the tight supervision of a quality control department. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE VEHICLES. More expensive than the do it yourself, but, oh so worth it. Everyone has to determine for themselves what they are willing to spend, after all that's why there are Mercedes out there and used Chevrolet's. INTERESTING TRADES CONSIDERED ????? This car was professionally built by Spirit Industries and it has just over 800 miles on it. I recently contacted them and they told me for them to build the car today it would cost right at $50,000.00 at my asking price that's a hit of about $10.00 per mile. If you think I still have it overpriced make me a reasonable offer but please before you make me a silly offer look around and see what you can buy at that price. Here are a couple examples of cost to build this vehicle. Front Wheels $1300.00, REAR WHEELS $2200.00, adjustable chrome qa1 coil over shocks $400.00, WILWOOD POLISHED BRAKE KIT $500.00, polished stainless steel FLAMING RIVER tilt column $469.99, polished radiator $850.00 chrome FLAMING RIVER STEERING BOX with chrome pitman arm $724.00 and the list goes on and on for 5 typed pages. These items total $6443.00 and you aren't even started There are two types of chrome plating. # 1 straight chrome, an example and you folks that have gone through a car building process and its time to buy your bumpers you find an inexpensive one and you see others that are at least twice as much, well if you bought the inexpensive one it was straight chrome plated and a couple years later you noticed red rust bleeding through the chrome and perhaps you see areas where the chrome is pealing. #2 chrome nickel, the addition of nickel in thee tank gives you a far better bonding of the product and you'll probably never see red rust unless you nick the chrome through to bare metal. Be prepared to spend at least twice as much for this process and be prepared to wait and wait for delivery because there are very few companies that can do it. There are lots of companies that do the straight chrome. A good example of chrome nickel plating is on a Harley and this T BUCKET . This car has so many upgrades, they are too numerous to mention. I hope the pictures will tell you the story. If you have any questions please let me know. Interesting trades will be considered such as cars, high end firearms, boats and ???. I thank you for your consideration.
