1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback Approximately 118,000 original miles. 289 V8 with automatic trans. I have been driving it the last four years. I purchased from the original family owners. I had the brakes overhauled professionally. This included all 4 wheel cylinders, drums, hardware kits, shoes, and properly adjusted. The car stops very well. I believe the interior is all original, and in very nice condition. I have always garaged the car, and was told by the previous owner he did as well. The floors are very solid. I drive the car regularly and it rides very well on the highway, and it has always been reliable for me and never let me down. I have done several 400 mile round trips. The car can be driven as it is, or the next owner can of course do what they wish with their new car. For a 50 year old, I would say this one is in great condition. The trim over one wheel well is dented, and I am including a set of replacements for both sides. The body is quite solid. There was some work done on the quarters many many years ago. It was not properly done. New quarters are only about $300 for the pair. Some work was previously done on the frame as well. The right side rear rail has a spot where I can see some rust, but I have always kept the car garaged and it has never gotten worse. The gas gauge doesn't work. I read that the float getting gas soaked is the common issue. I bought a new float but haven't installed it. I understand you don't have to take the gas tank out to replace the float. The car has late model Mustang GT rims on it, and the front tires are one size too big. On full wheel lock while driving into a sharp turn and simultaneously hitting a big grade change, they can very slightly touch the inner wheelwells if you bounce the car hard enough into the turn. This happened so infrequently that I didnt bother changing out the tires as it was such a slight touch and such a rare occurrence. I added Pertronix electronic ignition with a flame thrower III coil. Original points are included. The oil pan has one of those oversize replacement plugs from a previous owner, so a new pan is in order, the 289 oil pans run about 45 bucks on ebay or elsewhere, I just never got around to changing it. The car has passed every inspection, and it is currently on the road. It comes with a NewYork State transferable registration, as NY does not issue titles for older cars. Thank for looking, and considering adding this sexy fastback Galaxie to your collection! Car is located in Clifton Park, NY 12065. Sold as-is where is without warranty or returns. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. You are welcome to come and see and drive the car to look at and verify anything you may wish to prior to selecting buy it now or making an offer. Car must be paid for and picked up within 7 days of the purchase of this listing. $500 non-refundable deposit through paypal due immediately upon purchase commitment. I am open to considering bikes, or?? Volvo S60, v70, v70xc, or xc90 with the 5 cyl, or possibly a Corvette. Probably not another classic car as the main reason for this sale is I need to open up a side of my garage.

For sale is a 1967 Ford Galaxie. Original car with 118kmi. I purchased the car from the original owner family. Exterior has original paint on most of the car. Some of the lower sections have been painted many years ago, and some work was done on the quarters, again many years ago. This car is very solid, but the work on the quarters needs to be redone properly. Reproduction quarter panels for this car are around $300 for the pair. The floors are clean and solid. I intended on fixing the quarters and blending the paint to match the original paint, but of course you could refresh the paint entirely in any color you choose! The factory paint is oxidized, but should shine nicely with a little work. I wet sanded a small area on the trunk and found it will polish up well. The interior is in great condition. Last year I completely overhauled the brakes on all four corners. I had new drums, hardware kits, wheel cylinders, and shoes professionally installed. I went with original parts instead of adding disc brakes because the car is completely original. The brakes work excellent! The rims are late model Mustang GT. The car is an automatic with a 289ci V8. I added a Pertronix III electronic ignition and flame thrower coil, as well as 8mm wires. Included is the original FoMoCo stamped radiator that has a small damage to a cooling fin that leaked a little bit, so I removed it to have is brazed and put a replacement radiator in there for now. I also bought the correct Ford stamped radiator hoses for the reinstall of the proper radiator. Gas gauge doesn't work but I bought a new float that is the common issue, and is really easy to replace(don't even need to drop the tank). Also included is a pair of wheel well trims to replace the one that is dented, and a rear deck lid trim to replace the one on the car. There was some work done on the frame long ago. There is a small area at the rear rail that needs a bit of attention. It runs well and the car drives very nicely. It's registered and on the road. I drive it frequently when the weather is nice. It is reliable and cruises down the highway at 75mph with no problems. I believe this car could be driven across the country. Please ask any questions before purchase. I encourage you to come see and drive the car to see how nice it is. I am open to considering other cars, bikes, or?? Volvo S60, v70, v70xc, or xc90 with the 5 cyl, or?????? Corvette? Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. You are welcome to come and see/drive the car to verify anything you are concerned about. This car is being sold as-is, where is, without warranty or returns. $500 non-refundable deposit is due upon selecting to 'buy it now'. The remainder is due in cash at pickup. The car must be picked up within 7 days of the auctions close. the car is located in Clifton Park, NY 12065. I am willing to work with you for pickup if you need more time, but this must be arranged prior to purchase commitment.

Normal.dotm 0 0 1 665 3796 LTP 31 7 4661 12.0 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false 1973 Ford Country SquireAn original California car. It’s only original once. Gold Glow paint, engine and upholstery. I believe we are the second owners. Bought wagon from a guy in Burlingame, near San Francisco, California in 1995. He had the dealer put in a special Ford transmission for towing a boat. Which he never did, as he threw out his back. Car has about 91k miles which is ok for 40 years, averaging under 2,500 per year. We had it shipped back east about 15 years ago. Always kept in a dry de-humidified garage. Never driven in snow or salt roads. Never in rain. Serviced every 3,000 miles oil, filters and lube. Surprisingly fast with the 400 cu inch V8 giving it a smooth ride. Always starts, Had the distributer changed over to electronic ignition as the points on these Fords needed changing a lot. "...converting your car from a points-and-condenser ignition system to a more modern magnetic-impulse electronic system eliminates the need to replace and set points and replace condensers on a routine basis. More importantly, an electronic ignition doubles the amount of spark energy at the sparkplug for quicker starts, more power, and fewer emissions." This is not a trailer queen and shows light normal usage: there are imperfections: a ding here or there, a repaired separation in the original upholstery. AC blows cold, heater works, radio also. Rear window sticks, we stopped powering it up and down years ago.. There are two repairs to original vinyl siding. Overall a 90+ car. Could be driven across the country. Perfect for prop or for movie rental. Hard to find original and in great shape as not many of these were saved, like saving a bus or an ice cream truck from the day. From Wikipedia: "The Ford Country Squire is a full-size station wagon was built by the Ford Motor Company in the United States from 1950 until 1991, encompassing seven model generations. It was the premium station wagon model in Ford's full-size car range throughout this period. The Country Squire was initially built as a full "woodie". After the mid-1950s the rear body was composed of fiberglass covered by a vinyl appliqué printed to simulate wood. Later versions featured an all-steel body and are best remembered for featuring body sides and a tailgate covered by simulated wood trim and panels, however the Country Squire could be purchased without them. Prior to 1974, full-size Ford station wagon models without simulated wood trim were marketed as the Ranch Wagon, Del Rio, Parklane and Country Sedan. Subsequently, all full-size Ford wagons were marketed under the Ford LTD name, including the LTD Country Squire. The Country Squire was based on the Custom Deluxe series in 1950 & 1951, the Crestline from 1952 to 1954, the Fairlane from 1955 to 1958, the Galaxie from 1959 to 1966, and the LTD/LTD Crown Victoria from 1967 to 1991. Due to declining sales, Ford elected to exit the full-size station wagon market after 1991."Please ask questions before bidding. Hope it goes to a good home. You get a lot of waves and thumbs up, lots of "We had one of those when I was a kid…" conversations than you can imagine.Paypal for full amount due at end of auction. You are protected as a buyer. We have a 100% rating and want to keep it that way. Shipping is ok anywhere in the world. We can have car delivered to a port like New Jersey. Many reliable auto transport companies are out there for the USA. We have a professional on premises who can estimate personal delivery on a flatbed also.
