1967 Impala SS Convertible, excellent shape cruise it as is, or restore her to the original! Originally a 327, 4 bbl car, but has a 1973, 350 Chevy that has had the top end rebuilt, updated carb to handle the new gas, new fuel pump, rebuilt turbo 350 transmission, with a 12 bolt open end rear. The motor and trans were rebuild when the car was done in its current paint scheme back in the early 90’s and has had only 3000 miles put on it since that time. The car has a rebuilt front end, brand new stainless steel dual exhaust with magnaflow mufflers and headers that cost over 1200.00, new tires and 17” rims that were over 1500.00, all new brake lines and dual master cylinder as well as upgraded disc brake conversion, power steering, a new heater core and a four core aluminum radiator. The top is in darn near perfect condition and everything works as it should. There is an aftermarket CD radio, and although the dash radio panel was modified for installation I will include another factory replacement with the car if it meets the reserve. The chrome on the car is in great shape all the way around with the exception of the window wings they are pitted. I have all the chrome trim, plus duplicates of most of the trim parts, SS steering wheel, three grilles, hood and trunk lid, instrument cluster, several taillight assemblies, headlight assemblies, power steering box, bumpers and bumper inserts along with several in the factory box emblems, taillights and front corner marker assemblies that will all go with the car if it meets the reserve. (Every bit of 3 or 4 k in parts) The car is not perfect but as you can see the underneath is solid and is a perfect base for a complete restoration, or drive it shows. There is a small spot in the trunk that has rust and the quarters have bondo, but all in all it’s a great solid car. I know of the last three owners that date back to the 70’s and also can provide the name of the person who has the original 327 out of the car. The car has been in the family since the late 80’s, and I am asking a very fair price for its condition. Hagerty has the car appraised at $18k and my reserve is under that price. If you have any question please ask, and please feel free to come see the car in person if you are near Delaware. The car will be sold as is, with no warranties expressed or implied. I will require a $500.00 non refundable deposit within 24 hours, if you are the winning bidder. Shipping must be arranged by you and must be picked up within a reasonable amount of time. I will accept PayPal or cash only!
